The recreation of the Oldie breed in 1971 incorporated foundation dogs which were used very selectively in various combinations to obtain the desired physical and mental traits of the original Olde English Bulldogge.  The result has been a good looking Bulldogge of great athletic ability that is much healthier and physically fit without most or all of the problems that plague today's modern English Bulldogs.  We have made breakthroughs in our program by bringing the best of the West to the great state of Florida. Located in Jacksonville Olde South enjoys its status as the premier Olde English breeder in the South East.  Olde South’s Olde English Bulldogges are in very good health, athletic, and will be a loyal companion…. the ultimate family member.
